Flower, Vegetable & Herb Seeds

Last year we got an overwhelming request for starter seeds and so in 2009 we are pleased to be carrying seeds from the The Chas. C. Hart Seed Company, Wethersfield, CT. We will carry seeds for over 70 different varieties of flowers, vegetables, gourds, and herbs.

Don't forget to ask about our starter trays and domes. They are a great way to make sure your seeds are successful and a fabulous tool for teaching your children about nature!

The Chas. C. Hart Seed Company was founded in 1892 by Mr. Charles C. Hart. He started a small consignment package seed business, using the back kitchen of his home as a packing room, warehouse, and office. Today, the company is owned and operated by members of the third, fourth, and fifth generations of the Hart family.
